Day 1:
6th & 7th Grade: Complete the Feature Creature Activity.
INDEPENDENT ACTIVITY!
1. Choose an animal that you are interested in.
2. Use These Websites to find and fill out information about your animal of choice.
3. If you finish early, complete another activity page.
8, 9, and 10 Grade: Ecological Footprint Activity
INDEPENDENT ACTIVITY!
1. Read over THIS PREZI presentation to find out what an ecological footprint is.
2. Now that you know what it is, navigate to THIS WEBSITE and answer the questions (answer the more detailed questions to the best of your ability) to find out what your own ecological footprint is.
3. When you finish answering the questions, get a piece of copy paper or construction paper. On the paper, draw out how many Earths would be needed to sustain everybody living the way you do. Also draw out what things you do consume the most energy (recreate the pie chart that the website generated). Then, list three ways that you can improve your ecological footprint. Hand in when complete.
